Three Seattle hoops teams slated for next ABA season

The American Basketball Association (ABA) currently lists three Seattle teams slated to play starting Fall 2022 in the Pacific Region. The Seattle Mountaineers are returning, as are the Seattle Transformers. Joining the league as a new team are the Emerald City Warriors.

ABA Release: The American Basketball Association (ABA) today announced its latest entry into the league with the addition of the Emerald City Warriors located in Seattle, WA. “The Warriors will be co-owned by Annette Taylor, owner of Contra County Delta All-Stars and the Division Chairman of the Pacific North Division,” stated ABA CEO.  “Annette has proven herself to be a great owner and a terrific leader and I know she will make an impact in the northern part of PacNorth.”

Darryl Taylor is the Co-Owner; Richard Washington the GM and Tony Washington the Head Coach.  “I’m really excited about adding a second team in the ABA,” added Ms. Taylor.  “After two difficult Covid 19 years, we’re anticipating a very exciting and successful season especially with the ABA’s new Operation Upgrade which is taking the entire league to a new higher level of professionalism.”
